Netflix – Django Unchained

1 – This is another movie that I wasn’t too excited to see. I passed it up a few times on Netflix and finally decided to see it. Mainly, the reason I never watched this was because I had no clue what it was about. The trailer I saw, didn’t really give a clue.

2 – So! This movie is an intense scene after another! Pretty much another Quentin movie! Where EVERYTHING is over the top and maybe taken a little too far. The storyline is a GREAT one! Pretty much a slave turned free bounty hunter, searching for his wife. Absolutely LOVED the acting! I mean, everyone did great! The acting was spot on 10 for 10! If I had to say something bad, it’s that the movie was WAY too long. So if you have a few hours to spare….

3 – After a day of thinking, this movie might have been a little over the top for me. Especially the time. If he cut out some of the scenes and kept most of the humor it would have been great! I might have actually watched it again. But, the movie is too long for my taste

4 – This movie has everything an R rating can give you AND some. Pushing it all a little too far. So be ready for that if your into that!

This is a good storyline! Just maybe a little too long! Watch at your own risk!

Netflix – Walking Dead Season 1

1 – So I have already watched this, but my wife hasn’t, so i’m writing this in her words. She was NOT excited at all to watch this. She is a romantic at heart and watches disney movies ALL THE TIME!

2 – I understand writing an entire season in 5 mins is bad. But here we go! 6 Episodes! At first, this started off pretty slow. The 1st episode got your attention, but not MAKING you want to watch the next episodes. If you can make it to the 2nd Episode, then this is where the fun begins! It captures your interest and keeps you wanting more! The characters are GREAT! Rick and Shane, the 2 officers, work well together and make a great dynamic you wish COULD last. Other characters, I believe the writers wern’t trying to get you to like too soon. I think they were questioning who to kill off in the show and who not to. By the end of the season, this leaves you questioning everything!

3 – In my words, after seeing it again, I was excited watching it a 2nd time. I don’t like re-watching series, it takes way too long! But this is great! I’m happy I did! Full of great ups and more ups, and… some more ups! If your new to the walking dead, give it a shot! It might not be for you, but my wife seemed to enjoy it and shes excited for the 2nd season. This is someone who like disney and love stories btw. Now on to season 2! I hope that one isn’t as boring as I remember, PLEASE!!!!

4 – This show is gruesome! In everyway! Dead people, cursing, racism, and 1 sex scene I completely forgot about. No nudity, just very implied.

This show gives enough to want more! You’ll have fun watching it! Bring on seadon 2!!!

Netflix – Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World

1 – I never was very excited to see this movie. My wife and I were looking for a movie to watch after we got some pizza and put the kids to sleep. So we scrolled past this on Netflix

2 – Right after watching this movie I actually liked it pretty well. It gave the REAL aspects of what would happen to some people at the end of the world! The main actors are great! As they always are in many of there movies and shows. The humor was decent. Its a good watch but at the same time it was pretty sad as well. My wife cried a few times. It’s pretty much about a guy who is alone and the world is going to end soon. He finds a girl, and makes a few memories. Then!!!!??? I can’t tell!

3 – I dont think I would re-watch this. Still a decent movie! But it didn’t appeal to me at all.

4 – There was crude humor througout and a few suicide scenes. So it’s pretty intense! You will cry as well. So, if your into comforting your wife, watch this.

Might be good for some but not me. If you like sad sob stories…

Netflix – Hercules (The Rock)

1 – New to Netflix is Hercules! Also a movie I would have liked to see in theaters! The trailer wss great and made me really excited for it! So my excitment level was pretty decent for this one!

2 – After seeing this, I came away happy that I hadn’t saw it in theaters! I was entertained and the twist they took on Hercules was great! BUT! It’s the same storyline you’ve heard a million times! Girl in trouble, guy saves girl, and city, the end! With action. CGI was decent though! Good job guys!

3 – Giving this a day, I still feel the same. I will not be watching this again though. Was good for a movie that you want to be entertained with for however long it is. But thats it….

4 – There is Nudity right from the start and cursing. Take it as it is, crude torture. Would not let my kids be around while I watched this.

For netflix, this is alright. If you wanna waist your life!

NETFLIX – TMNT

New To Netflix is a remake of the classic Ninja Turtle movies!

1- When I first heard of this movie coming into theaters I really wish I had gone to see it, but Netflix gave it to me! It is rated 2 stars as of right now but I believe it should be givin more credit! I loved this as a kid!

2- I absolutely loved the storyline! This movie was GREAT! The CGI was pretty bad in some parts, but who cares? There was a lot of corny parts and some of the plot was pretty bad and corny as well. But come on! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! How else are you going to portray it?

3- Refer to #2, don’t believe I could change my mind about it, was fun and I should be seeing it again!

4- The’re really arn’t any parts in this that can be considered completely bad. I heard 1 bad word in this, if there were more sorry but. Many of the villans get killed with swords but nothing intense, no gore and no blood. Mostly the deaths were hidden in battle scenes. One was killed by being hit by a train in the subway. But clean movie other than all that!

Ant Man

1 – (https://youtu.be/pWdKf3MneyI) My excitment level was not really great for this movie, A super hero who turns small and big again, yea, cool I guess. But I gave it a shot for 1 reason! Paul Rudd, after hearing this he is “Ant Man” I couldn’t resist the dry humor he gives off. Plus, he is my favorite actor ever.

2 – Right after the movie, I was glad I had actually seen it. You get the usual cameos you would want and the random dry humor. Almost all the actors did a great job! The storyline was respectful and I love the relationship between Ant Man and his Daughter. My wife and I left the theater thinking we spent our money well by going to this movie.

3 – Giving it a day, I wasn’t very excited to see this movie again, I am excited to see how ANT MAN gets involved with the Avengers but as a stand alone movie, I felt as if Marvel just NEEDED to make a movie so they can involve him. Kind of like the first Captain America. So this movie was entertaining yes! But I don’t think I will actually buy it and put it into my own home collection. Of very few movies!

4 – As a Christian and a Parent, I believe my kids will like this as they get older. Random fun humor and not Scary at all for kids really. Swear words could not have been used, but I believe this mostly for all movies, except some realistic war movies. I remember a kissing scene, but it was more of a funny one. Worth seeing in theaters if you like super hero movies!

Jurassic World

1- (http:// https://youtu.be/RFinNxS5KN4) This movie has got me so excited to re-watch this franchise. Picking Chris Pratt was a GREAT idea to keep this franchise going. It brings me back to being a kid, and remembering how fun the first movie was. Not the other 2

2- 1st reaction after the movie was how I really LOVED how they made the movie more of a sequal to the 1st movie, and basically disregarded the other 2. Without spoilers it had its cheezy parts, AND its “well duh I knew that was going to happen” parts. But the Good out weighs the VERY VERY FEW bad parts.

3 – After giving the movie some thought for a day, It is a movie that Would be a great 2nd watch in theaters! Honestly. Coming from somebody who doesn’t watch movies twice because its a waist of time, this is a GREAT 2nd watch in theaters!

4 – My personal view as a Christian and as a Parent, i’d love to have my kids see this once they reach higher levels of Gradeschool. There is cussing in it and in its humor as well. There are some pretty creepy and scary parts in this movie that could scare children. But im happy that there really wasn’t any un-needed make-out sessions or random underwear scenes. So they kept it pretty clean in that aspect!
